Newsletter Privacy & Consent
When you request The Keystone Dispatch newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you choose to supply them, your first name and Pennsylvania county. We also record the date of your request and the date you confirm your address, along with subscription status and where on the website you signed up.
How enrollment works
You must expressly agree to receive updates and then confirm your email using a confirmation link. Unconfirmed requests are not eligible for newsletter campaigns. Pending requests older than 30 days are automatically deleted. Confirmation links expire after seven days.
What we send
When the email digest launches, it may include original Pennsylvania reporting, verified public event notices, outdoor recreation updates and occasional clearly labeled sponsorships. We have not yet launched a recurring newsletter schedule. Your subscription does not grant third-party businesses permission to contact you directly.
Where information is kept
Our newsletter list is managed in the AR15 Pennsylvania WordPress database and may be exported by authorized website administrators for legitimate newsletter delivery. Access is restricted to website administrators. We do not sell subscriber addresses. Site hosting and mail delivery providers may process data needed to run these services.
Unsubscribe or request deletion
Confirmation and future newsletter messages include a link to unsubscribe. You may also request deletion of your record through our contact page. After unsubscribing, we retain a suppression record until it is deleted to avoid accidental re-enrollment. Website administrators can permanently remove your record.
Security and consent
We use confirmation links, anti-spam limits, and administrator permissions to protect the signup workflow. No internet-based system can promise absolute security. We may revise this notice as the newsletter service evolves.
